Dick Cavett told a hilarious story about Chico and Tallulah Bankhead meeting for the first time at a party, and everyone was worried because Tallulah was carried herself so regally (although, as the LIFEBOAT cast found out, fond of going commando) and Chico was supposed to be rather crude about his affections/intentions. Apparently, they carried on a very polite, civilized conversation at the end of which Chico came out with basically "I'd really like to fuck you."
To which Tallulah was quoted in reply as saying "And so you shall, you old-fashioned boy."

Okay, I'm reading this thing, and it's really bugging the crap out of me. He dismisses the director's explanations fo the events of the movie out of hand. Like, "Eh, whatever. That guy doesn't know what he's talking about ."

Plus he includes Citizen Kane in a list of movies (like Fight Club and Jacob's Ladder) that exist entirely in the main character's head.
Ummm..... I thought the whole point of Citizen Kane is that the one place we never get a look at is inside Kane's head.
