WTF?? Shaun of the Dead is not playing in Chicago?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Can I go see Garden State first?

Yes you may. (The better it does, the sooner NU can start using Zach as it's successful-alumnus poster child instead of David Schwimmer.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sod off - it's playing on the Magnificent Mile. Is is playing any place magnificent in SF?

WTF?? Shaun of the Dead is not playing in Chicago?

Huh? Ebert reviewed it in the Sun Times and he doesn't do that if the movie hasn't opened yet (as opposed to his show where he does).

Yeah, I was relying on Yahoo Movies. Fandango found one theater in downtown Chicago.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Use the Metromix page at the Tribune's website to get a pretty accurate movie listing for Chicago and 'burbs--it's got Shaun of the Dead in 24 theaters in the area.

Oh duh. There's more theaters listed on the next page at Fandango. But I avoid going to 'burbs other than Evanston.

I guess the moral of the story is that I cannot be relied upon for accurate information on showings of Shaun of the Dead in Chicago.

Punishingly Intricate

And in this very thread, from me. Go see it! It's brilliantly funny.

Am going to Shaun of the Dead tonight based on your review! And the very funny interview with the filmmakers in the paper yesterday in which they referred to a Zombie zeitgeist.

Shaun of the Dead has Dawn (whose real name is Lucy Davis) from The Office in it, too, apparently.
