I saw Robocop for the first time ever the other night. It wasn't bad. My favorite part were the commercials, particularly for the nuclear attack family board game.
Poor Paul McCrane can't cut a break, can he? Face melts off in Robocop, regenerates his cancer-needing freak self in gross ways on The X-Files, and is bested twice by a helicopter on ER.

Seconded. Yowza. Hoewever, I'm still curious exactly what they are going to be like. I mean, they can't do them like the book, but I really hope they aren't remotely like the ones in the first movie.

He has deliberately avoided doing so in order to make the look of the movie entirely his (and Dahl's, of course.)

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies
I've never seen it either, as far as I can recall.
