Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This week's has a DVD w/ the first episode of Jack and Bobby in it. Which makes me wonder -- if nobody tunes into the premiere, will the WB assume that they all saw it already and go by the 2nd ep's ratings, or just cancel it that much sooner?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's the entire ep? Cool. Let me grab it out of the waste paper basket. I keep forgetting I'm curious about the show.

It claims to be. I haven't watched it yet.

Okay, this is what happens when you free-associate through the net...

One of the posters in ita's link claimed to take it's art from what it called a spoiler - "Dude, Where's My Stapler" - which I had to confirm immediately, and quickly discovered was not true.

I did, however, find out that this movie cannot come out fast enough.

Instinctual, unfiltered, and completely unironic except in retrospect response:

DUDE! SWEET!

[eta: And now I've scrolled down to the cast...Luke Wilson is of the good. Maya Rudolph? NSM. Maybe she's funnier when she's not on SNL?]

Hee!

I think Mike Judge may inspire more absolute, utter adoration in me than just about anybody else.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Remember a while back (okay, probably more than a while ...) when we were discussing the movies that the people nearest & dearest to you have to "get", otherwise you will be saddened and worry about how you'll ever communicate with them?

Big Fish

I've had the DVD since it came out, but I finally watched it tonight.

sniffles happily

It really is one of the best movies ever for me.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just got back from a movie orgy afternoon. I went to see Hero and then snuck into Garden State on impulse.

I like Hero but didn't love it. It was very beautiful but it wasn't quite the movie I was expecting, I guess.

However, Garden State was the movie I was expecting and I loved it.
