While you are at it, show

I really dug Night of Power...
Oh, no. Just, uh-uh.
-t, perhaps you should hook up with ita. We are not compatible, except for the Brust thing.
On further reflection, i really dug
parts
of
Night of Power.
The idea of being "spotless", which was totally abandoned, is what stuck with me. That and the drinking of whiskey with an eye on the clock to calibrate the drunkenness. That seemed like wisdom when I was in college...
t /poorly concealed heartbreak
Hold in abeyance all judgments. -t has plucked out the soul of
Night of Power,
choosing the best bits for display.
-t, if I say "God is an Iron", what Spider Robinson book do you reply?
Oh that's a name I know, Spider Robinson. He's the one with the puns right? FE loves him and keeps trying to get me to read one. I roll my eyes forever and say "sure."
I despise puns.
Mindkiller
eta: puns are the lowest form of humor, the base on which all else stands
One of Spider Robinson's puns that stayed with me was "They also surf who only sand and wade." I used that as a tag line for a little while.
I think the last book of his I liked was
Lady Slings the Booze,
but it has been a while, I guess I should go check out what he has done lately.
I despise puns.
So, you consider them punishment?
Huh. I may have to check out the Spider Robinson. He was one of my brother's favorite authors. But he stayed into hard SF when I was branching off into SF/fantasy and pure fantasy. I'm finding myself intrigued with some of the classic authors I either grew disenamoured off or just never got the love of back then.
I despise puns.
So, you consider them punishment?
t swoons with pun-loving fangurly admiration
It's always o-pun season here with the Buffistas.
