You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Hold in abeyance all judgments. -t has plucked out the soul of Night of Power, choosing the best bits for display.

-t, if I say "God is an Iron", what Spider Robinson book do you reply?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh that's a name I know, Spider Robinson. He's the one with the puns right? FE loves him and keeps trying to get me to read one. I roll my eyes forever and say "sure."

I despise puns.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

One of Spider Robinson's puns that stayed with me was "They also surf who only sand and wade." I used that as a tag line for a little while.

I think the last book of his I liked was Lady Slings the Booze, but it has been a while, I guess I should go check out what he has done lately.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I despise puns.

So, you consider them punishment?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Huh. I may have to check out the Spider Robinson. He was one of my brother's favorite authors. But he stayed into hard SF when I was branching off into SF/fantasy and pure fantasy. I'm finding myself intrigued with some of the classic authors I either grew disenamoured off or just never got the love of back then.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I despise puns.

So, you consider them punishment?

All is well that ends in pizza.

It's always o-pun season here with the Buffistas.

And so-fun filled with punny tales - since many of us have cats, perhaps punny tails. Some of us named kat appeal to males (and of course females). Good thing this post isn't traveling through the U.S. mails.
