21 Jump Street. Silence of the Lambs
scares me to no end, and I don't really like being scared, but:
Tim gutted it. Kept Rachel, another actor, and the title, and changed the entire premise of the show.
Damn. I love me some Tim. For Tim, I would consent to being scared well and often. If only it were on some network, not Fox, all would be good. I suppose that might make it too easy.
Perhaps it won't be
too
scary?

How do the creators feel about that?
Thrilled to have Tim on board? I hope...
I mean, I'm sure they're happy their show's getting to air...but it doesn't sound like it's their show anymore. Granted, Tim's show sounds better. I'm just saying.
An ok show that dies before airing or absolutely wonderful show with Tim that airs. I would go with the latter. Sure, it will likely die a few episodes later, but at least it airs. That has to be a step up.
Bitter, me? Naah. If it's possible to be an embittered optimist, that's me when it comes to Tim or Joss TV.
Between the two of them, don't they have like, 300 episodes of television aired? Angel, Firefly, Buffy, XFiles, Wonderfalls, Lois and Clark, Strange World?
And not all of them were cancelled early, so I guess I shouldn't be so upset. Perhaps it's because it's Sunday and I'm still at work, although heading home
finally.

I doubt they're happy. It's not their script or concept and I'm not sure their names will be attached at all to the finished product. I mean, Tim didn't even keep the names of the characters the same.
You mean Fox didn't like anything about the show except a couple of the actors, and they went ahead and green-lighted it anyway?
Hey, they have to have something to cancel after airing it on Fridays. These three and four week seasons have to be eating through a lot of the shows in the development pipeline.

The creators were fired, I doubt there happy about anything.
THE INSIDE (FOX) - Tim Minear ("Wonderfalls," "Angel") has been tapped to redevelop the midseason drama as original creators/executive producers Todd Kessler and Glenn Kessler ("Robbery Homicide Division") have exited the series. Minear will write and direct a new pilot for the project ... It's not clear however how much of the concept will be changed for the new version.
It does sound to me that by rights Tim should get a sole creator credit for this show, given that the only thing it has in common is the name (when plenty of pilots change name, or dont even have one), but I think the WGA rules would prolly mean that they get Created by Kessler & Kessler, and devloped by Tim Minear.
