[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

And I will watch "Objects in Space" before leaving

Don't let this stop folks from showing it to Nilly on the trip. It is worth many repeat viewings, plus the commentary is great. I would think this would be a perfect ep to unwind from a trip. Of course, I'm a tad biased as this is my favorite episode of any show. Enjoy, Nilly!

Oh, and don't worry about the part where the creepy aliens attack the ship. I know that they said the show had no aliens, but it is all explained later.

All is well that ends in pizza.

And Kaylee in the corset and long red fishnets, with the bullwhip? Priceless.

That was Book.

You're both right DCJ and Wolfram. Remember? It was Kaylee in the Sound of Music singalong, and Book in the gay bar.

The evil is this way?

I thought Simon was in the gay bar. Darn. Now I have to rewatch the episode and see.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I thought Book was in the closet, and Kaylee was the one in the corset....sorry.

Book and Simon were together, literally in the closet in corsets. I mean, not together together, just together. Unless I misinterpreted. Oh, my. Were they really together? Well that's a twist. It's getting difficult to make everything fit together, but I persist. I mean, if Tim could do all that mind-boggling work on Buffy, then we should be able to get a few folks in corsets in closets. Singing.

Narrator, they're listing funny events that are out of character.

Ha, Matt, and again I say, ha! Seriously, I would have COMMed but for this being so Minearverse. Although my friend who adores Simon (as a brother, but, you know, not) would beat us both about the head and then cry on our shoulders about this. Simon? Gay? In Out of Gas no less! Surely not!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is the Minearverse COMM-invalid?

Don't be ashamed.

Give him his due.
