What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd give him "Not Fade Away," but the others are run-of-the-mill at best in my book. And TGiQ sucked as much as is possible for an episode without Cordelia mooning sappily over Angel.

I thought NFA was something of a let-down, but then, I feel the same way about The Gift. I think they hit the same meh buttons for me.

And your 5 star episodes are?

Origin and Smile Time, with a couple of 4.5 star eps (You're Welcome and Lineage) coming close behind them.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I liked "A Hole in the World", out-of-blue Fred worship and all (the image and the dialog at the Deeper Well, and the scene of Wes reading Little Princess to dying Fred were some of the most evocative things ME has ever put on screen), but I personally thought "Shells", "Smile Time" and "Origin" were way stronger episodes than the ones listed by Hec. Well, maybe I'll give him "Not Fade Away".

You're a tough grader, but I appreciate that about you. How many stars for the lucha libre?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wow, I'd forgotten, but S5 had some excellent episodes. Actually, other than The Girl in Question, I can't even think of an episode I disliked off the top of my head. I thought the Harmony episode and the WWII flashback episodes were subpar, but even those had some good bits, like the chopstick fight and the whole Lawson/Connor parallel.
