And your 5 star episodes are?

but can't imagine how I can share a favorite one with someone who doesn't think "You're Welcome" or "Smile Time" is a classic but does "The Girl in Question."

The Connor storyline is my favorite - by a long shot - in the last season.

As characters, both Connor and Faith benefitted by moving to a recurring status.

I'd give him "Not Fade Away," but the others are run-of-the-mill at best in my book. And TGiQ sucked as much as is possible for an episode without Cordelia mooning sappily over Angel.

I thought NFA was something of a let-down, but then, I feel the same way about The Gift. I think they hit the same meh buttons for me.

Origin and Smile Time, with a couple of 4.5 star eps (You're Welcome and Lineage) coming close behind them.

I liked "A Hole in the World", out-of-blue Fred worship and all (the image and the dialog at the Deeper Well, and the scene of Wes reading Little Princess to dying Fred were some of the most evocative things ME has ever put on screen), but I personally thought "Shells", "Smile Time" and "Origin" were way stronger episodes than the ones listed by Hec. Well, maybe I'll give him "Not Fade Away".
