You know me! I'm like, "Go school! It's your birthday!" Or something to that effect.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked AYNOHYEB (despite finding it a little anvily). But I didn't think it was the greatest thing since sliced bread or anything.

Right. It was one of those I had faint memories of, existence-wise, but that's it. Although it was a pleasant experience to watch it again.

Next thing you know, fans of Dad and Provider will start coming out of the woodwork.

It's okay, I won't defend them. I don't hate them with a seething hatred or anything, but weirdly enough, I remembered a lot of "Provider." It's bad in a weird way, what with the rampant greed and all.

Which, apparently, a bunch of you were.

No, I liked the visuals! Well, I guess they were a little bright and not noir enough, which contributed to the non-Angel-y vibe.

I also found "I Will Remember You" kind of lame, on watching it again. So as much as I feel comfortable on the bandwagon, I'm not always on it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

someone who gets kicked and punched in the head for fun

And this is just more evidence that you can't be trusted.

I've never been kicked in the head. And even if I had, what I do for fun is kick other people. "Other" is such the important word.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Indeed. Because without it, you're left with "I kick people, possibly including myself". Which doesn't so much say 'martial arts' as it does 'violent uncontrollable leg spasms'.

And now I'm surely going to hell, because I just had an idea for an event at the Special Olympics.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Didn't Zorak and Brak play a video game called "headkicker"?

The evil is this way?

Who are you people?

They are heathens! Let's burn them at the stake! Or, you know, shake our heads at their wrongity.

Up with the sun

Did anyone notice that the actress who played the Crazy slayer earlier this season is the same actress who plays Theresa on The OC?

I saw her name in The OC credits and couldn't believe it. She looks really different when she's not acting crazy.

I remember being distinctly underwhelmed by AYNOHYEB. And I've always been reluctant to mention that fact, since it's so universally loved here.

It made me feel stupid, 'cos I didn't get it. Was the old woman a ghost, or had she been living in the Hyperion for 50 years? I might like it more on a rewatch, though. I know I did like the '50's scenes.

But I agree the list is weird; I would have put on "Home" and "The Trial" and lost "A Hole in the World" and "Damage" at a minimum.

The latter. How she was kept alive, I have no idea.

Up with the sun

How she was kept alive, I have no idea.

See, I thought that, but then I thought I was wrong, because it MAKES NO SENSE. Unless we assume the evil force was somehow keeping her alive, but then why would it let her age?

I don't get it.

I figured she was being kept alive so he could feed off her. But that it couldn't last forever.
