The evil is this way?

Who are you people?

They are heathens! Let's burn them at the stake! Or, you know, shake our heads at their wrongity.

Up with the sun

Did anyone notice that the actress who played the Crazy slayer earlier this season is the same actress who plays Theresa on The OC?

I saw her name in The OC credits and couldn't believe it. She looks really different when she's not acting crazy.

I remember being distinctly underwhelmed by AYNOHYEB. And I've always been reluctant to mention that fact, since it's so universally loved here.

It made me feel stupid, 'cos I didn't get it. Was the old woman a ghost, or had she been living in the Hyperion for 50 years? I might like it more on a rewatch, though. I know I did like the '50's scenes.

But I agree the list is weird; I would have put on "Home" and "The Trial" and lost "A Hole in the World" and "Damage" at a minimum.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was the old woman a ghost, or had she been living in the Hyperion for 50 years?

The latter. How she was kept alive, I have no idea.

How she was kept alive, I have no idea.

See, I thought that, but then I thought I was wrong, because it MAKES NO SENSE. Unless we assume the evil force was somehow keeping her alive, but then why would it let her age?

I don't get it.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

See, I thought that, but then I thought I was wrong, because it MAKES NO SENSE. Unless we assume the evil force was somehow keeping her alive, but then why would it let her age?

Because it's evil.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I figured she was being kept alive so he could feed off her. But that it couldn't last forever.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hence his desire for fresh victims.

Oh, okay.

It still doesn't make massive amounts of sense to me, but I think I just need to go with the show. Thanks for explaining it.

Unless we assume the evil force was somehow keeping her alive, but then why would it let her age?

I don't know how he would stop her from aging. He did keep other people away so he could continue to feed off her but I don't think he had any powers beyond the paranoia stuff. Oh and the tentacles.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Oh and the tentacles.

Good thing none of the MoG were Japanese school girls. It could have been ugly.
