And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think the real impact of that line is seeing that Illyria is capable of considering Gunn (or any human other than Wesley) as an individual. That she's thinking of herself as an ex-god, instead of a temporarily inconvenienced god.

I think Illyria loved Wesley more than Fred did.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I think Illyria loved Wesley more than Fred did.

I think you're right. *sob*

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I think Illyria loved Wesley more than Fred did.

I think that Wesley was all Illyria ever loved, whereas Fred had other loves to compare it to.

The evil is this way?

I think Illyria loved Wesley more than Fred did.

Yep. He went all crazy for her and everything. What more could a girl immortal being ask for?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why do you think Illyria loved Wes more than Fred did? I think she made an attachment, but I wouldn't put a capital L on it.

Shoes? Minions?

'Cause Wes was always so rational about Fred...

Wes hasn't been rational over anything for quite a while. I mean, by those lights, Connor should have boffed him, not Cordy.
