I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

What is even happening?

I always thought the minimum vote total was both excessively high and sort of think having one at all is silly. If people don't care enough to vote, they don't care enough to have a say.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If people don't care enough to vote, they don't care enough to have a say.

Can you clarify this for me? Are you saying that by your absence you should have no impact on the decision?

I don't think I'd say it like that. I'm saying, if you want to have an impact on the decision, participate.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So if no one voted but three people and two voted yes, it should go? I think a quorum is an important factor in voting. I also see where the people who think no preference shouldn't be an option are coming from.

So what you're saying lisah is, you have no preference?

Not serious board names:

Like eternity, but longer

I voted no preference but I didn't mean it

Is board culture like yogurt?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I voted no preference but I didn't mean it

Ha!

But seriously. I don't think I've ever voted no preference. I don't get *not actually wanting something to pass* but voting for it anyway. I would posit this is why almost everything that goes to a vote passes.

Punishingly Intricate

So what you're saying lisah is, you have no preference?

hah! that was Liese, actually. I see the word 'quorum' and my vision blurs and I can't see well enough to type any kind of opinion about it.
