Seconded (thirded?). I think it's worth discussing in bulbs.
Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

I'll second, if we still need one.
Seconded, just to get the conversation out of hypotheticalville, although I plan to start watching this Fall.
As much as I'd love to get the VM talk out of Boxed Set (selfish-- I don't watch it), didn't we already vote no on a VM thread? How long is the moratorium, six months? (Note: I have no idea how long it's been since we had the Big TV Vote.)
That vote was October last year, I think.
Oh, I actually just started watching "Veronica Mars"! It's shown here on a cables channel that I don't have, and a friend who has it started taping it and convincing me I have to watch so that she has somebody to discuss the show with, because she felt lonely in her love.
Of course, I won't be able to participate in the proposed thread, if it ever ends up existing, because I won't be watching in "real time" with you guys (yup, I'm still too prude to download episodes. Sigh), and I'll avoid any conversation due to spoilers-to-me, so it's not like my opinion on the matter has any meaningful meaning. But I just had to post the meMeME (or is it "meMeME too"?).
[Edit: so that my post has actual content:
That vote was October last year, I think.

didn't we already vote no on a VM thread?
No. There was a poll to see what shows had enough interest to warrant a formal proposal for a thread. Yeah, it was a bit of a sneaky workaround, but it's been six months anyway so it's a moot point.
That vote was October last year, I think.
Oh, then nevermind.
We have enough seconds, so I've opened Lightbulbs.
Discussion starts here:

If someone knows they're going to be without internet access during a vote, can the person vote ahead of time, or did we just decide that sometimes, you're out of town, and don't vote?
