Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm on the new thread. Y'all can choose the name later.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thread naming is getting so contentious we need to be boring and just number them already. Sheesh. Some people got no humor. Some other people got no imagination. And some other other people got no patience.

Me? I'm a curmudgeon. I got none o' the above.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

we need to be boring and just number them already.

Agreed. Is this a proposal, Beverly, cause then I'm seconding? (hee hee)

I'm good with the current title as is.

I'd third it. For Natter, that is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Aww, fuck, I don't want to stop naming threads. That's a big part of our culture here whether Kat likes it or not.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thread naming isn't as fun for me as it used to be. It seems people take it more seriously than before, whether it be to offend or be offended or just get het up that thread titles are wrong.

It's nice when it's a fun and unifying experience.

Yeah, that's what I'd like to get back to. But if we can't agree on something as innocuous as thread titles, then there's something wrong with us. And I'm not ready to concede that we're too fucked up to treat this process with the lightness and play it deserves.

Be it resolved, thread naming is play, but it's not a competition. Bullshit consensus rules. Keep it light, no sour faces, no backbiting.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think part of it is just the fact that we've done this 137 times just since the Phoenix opened. Maybe we should make the new people name the threads.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm new(ish)!

I will love them and hold them and call them all George.
