I threadsucked and read all the discussion about new threads, but when can we revote on which shows we want new threads for? (or can we?) 'Cause I am DYING to talk about Veronica Mars with Buffistae but can't keep up with Natter. Loving the Lost thread, tho.
Feel free to tell me to shut my pie hole and keep up with Bureau and Press to know when voting is going on.
I guess the question is, did the non-binding poll Lyra set up to help decide which shows to include in the official vote "count" as something subject to the 6 month moratorium?
I would think not -- that's why she set it up that way -- but keep in mind that Veronica Mars got very little interest in that poll. I know. But that was back in October, maybe not that many people were watching it back then or thought it would survive this long.
Wow. I've just been reading at peoplesforum that there's going to be a planned outage to encourage people to donate -- they're not making the $3000/month that it requires to stay afloat.
I am immensely glad and relieved that we've found some equilibrium and a place to get on each other's nerves and snipe and comfort and filter and challenge and code and gift with some degree of stability.
I wonder how much of that is the licensing for the WebX software. Given that WebCrossing is starting to charge for WX, they're probably increasing the fees for the software, too.
It's the same amount he's said he needed for months. And that amount includes his salary.
Yeah, I just took a look at some of the posts in the funding forum. Yeesh. He needs a cluesticking.
Do we want to have another contingency? In case we need to have an offsite discussion, or something?
Is there any reason we couldn't use the Buffista community LJ? I know that's not what it's there for, but it's there. And free.
A lot of people aren't on LJ, though -- as a place to look for an announcement of where to find us, it's fine, but for any extended discussion, nsm.
