Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I guess the question is, did the non-binding poll Lyra set up to help decide which shows to include in the official vote "count" as something subject to the 6 month moratorium?

I would think not -- that's why she set it up that way -- but keep in mind that Veronica Mars got very little interest in that poll. Of the 99 poeple who voted, only 12 showed interest in a VM thread. Lyra Jane "Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?" Oct 15, 2004 6:39:33 am PDT

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

I know. But that was back in October, maybe not that many people were watching it back then or thought it would survive this long.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wow. I've just been reading at peoplesforum that there's going to be a planned outage to encourage people to donate -- they're not making the $3000/month that it requires to stay afloat.

I am immensely glad and relieved that we've found some equilibrium and a place to get on each other's nerves and snipe and comfort and filter and challenge and code and gift with some degree of stability.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wonder how much of that is the licensing for the WebX software. Given that WebCrossing is starting to charge for WX, they're probably increasing the fees for the software, too.

It's the same amount he's said he needed for months. And that amount includes his salary.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Do we want to have another contingency? In case we need to have an offsite discussion, or something?

What is even happening?

Is there any reason we couldn't use the Buffista community LJ? I know that's not what it's there for, but it's there. And free.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

A lot of people aren't on LJ, though -- as a place to look for an announcement of where to find us, it's fine, but for any extended discussion, nsm.

What is even happening?

That's true, amy. I was just thinking that now that LJ registration doesn't require an invite code, and is free, that it's not too far removed from joining PF.
