I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oops, I didn't know this....

Hee. It's okay. Sorry to involve you in an in-joke you didn't know anything about--it's just that there was a bloody flamewar fought over preferential voting back when we were setting up the voting system.

Up with the sun

this is happening every thread title now. I think I'd like to see us start voting on the things

This gets my vote. Well, either voting, or using some other decision-making process that doesn't require 100 posts to scroll past in Bureau every time.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I consense for No Consensus

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm for DXM picking.

There was a kind of consensus about the one like "Didn't we already do the three squared one before?" (however that was phrased)

I remember four or five people liking that, which is pretty nearly a landslide in thread title selection. Seems a shame to waste a good number like 27 on "No Consensus." Soon we're going to get to numbers which have no cultural associations whatsoever. Or...one association like 57 and Heinz.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Natter 27: An Unholy Alliance of Actuaries and Australians

I just changed my tag. Now I have to go change it again?

Signed, the Unholy Alliance

Soon we're going to get to numbers which have no cultural associations whatsoever.

I'm looking forward to this. The numerical references are getting old, and kind of forced.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Come on, David, the people LOVE No consensus. Live it, love it.
