You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Sean and SA, I think I am going to be getting a room at the hotel on Thursday as well as Friday and Saturday, in case it matters.

Thanks, sweetie. I think I'm covered, but you know how things are. We tend to migrate.

Our wings are not tired

Observe the migratory patterns of the Buffista.

Watch as they circle each other, throwing down the common tactic of snark and (p)leather to draw desired attention.

It appears that they often gather at a common nesting site for what appears to be a group mating ritual.

It is fascinating to watch, as the females are adorned in what appears to be tiaras, as they move in synchronization to the little known but critically acclaimed theremin; note the proliferation of alcohol and dvds that appears at such an occasion as well.

Hey. New board.

The use of alcohol as a mating device is well-understood, but the DVDs are still a mystery to most that study these fair and noble creatures.

Interestingly enough it appears that many of the males are also adorned with tiaras, and at least one is dressed in what seems to be a skirt made from the pelt of a fallen animal.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

SA, I don't think your email made it through (or, if it did, was lost in the bajillion emails I have yet to plow through).

I can still pick you up from National, if that's what it was about, and probably put you up at my house if you still need a room. Assuming we haven't moved by then.

Many of the costumes these exuberant personages don carry a particular sparkle or glint to them; leading many to wonder whether this serves as a tactic for drawing in potential like-minded souls, or to distract those unresponsive to their characteristics from coming nearer.

Much speculation, too, is devoted to the vernacular of this people, whose lexicon is characterised by such strange and unheard-of syllabic constructions such as "foamy," "oost," and "timelies."

In particular, their rousing cry of "porn, porn, porn!" has been known to ring through the halls of their meeting-place, an excitable and arousing chant that seems to work them further into a happy and pleased state.

Nope, actually it was about the Lucksmiths. I wanted to know if you had any more of their works, because I really really like "T-shirt Weather." Thank you so much for the offer of sleeping-space, but I should be covered; and it makes me secretly giddy that you're picking me up. Which I will have more information on, like, you know, when I'm showing up, closer to the date.
