Are these the episodes you have, Jess? ;)
F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
Well, if ND gets both the deb Seal of Approval and the deb's cats SoA, that's good enough for me!
I didn't hear wild cheers about a tour of the Capitol on that Friday, so I haven't done anything about setting one up...if Congress isn't voting, I'm sure I could set up some form of tour for those as are interested that day.
Yes, those are the ones. I'm not sure what the winking smiley is supposed to mean.
I don't wanna wait anymore. I want the F2F now!
Also, I wanna go shopping with buffistas again, that was fun.
NovaChild, you should definitely try to hook up with the Laistas. We have a list even: Lee "Sunnydale Press" Feb 15, 2004 9:21:37 am PST
I'm a Caltech brat, since my father taught there, and go to Pasadena all the time.
I'm not sure what the winking smiley is supposed to mean.
I had a reason an hour ago, but darned if I can remember where my head was at.
He told me once that the secret to crossing the streets in Hong Kong was to not make eye contact with the drivers. The theory goes is, if you do then they know you know they're coming at you and you better get out of their way. However, if you just keep eyes front and balls it across the street then they have to get out of your way.
I was told the same thing by my tour guide in Italy.
And it is so, so true. When I came back I kept crossing without looking at the light, which freaked my friends out.
Yeah, both of the Laptops I'm bringing have DVD drives and I'll bring the breakout cables for them.
Mine has DVD, too, and CDRW; I'll be bringing vids for a vid party, too, and we can burn people data discs of them, should they want them. As well as other assorted hoo-ha.
Woo hoo! Signing up for the line to get copies.
I'll also be bringing my laptop, which can serve as a DVD player (though sadly, not an additional recorder to get a factory going) if another is needed.
I used to live in Eagle Rock. (throwing hat into the upper-end-of-the-110 ring).
Echo Park (long time back).
Way back when I was in law school in DC, I had a favorite sushi restaurant that I think is still there. Would anyone be interested in making that one of the restaurant choices on Friday night?
Sean and SA, I think I am going to be getting a room at the hotel on Thursday as well as Friday and Saturday, in case it matters.
