S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Many of the costumes these exuberant personages don carry a particular sparkle or glint to them; leading many to wonder whether this serves as a tactic for drawing in potential like-minded souls, or to distract those unresponsive to their characteristics from coming nearer.

Much speculation, too, is devoted to the vernacular of this people, whose lexicon is characterised by such strange and unheard-of syllabic constructions such as "foamy," "oost," and "timelies."

In particular, their rousing cry of "porn, porn, porn!" has been known to ring through the halls of their meeting-place, an excitable and arousing chant that seems to work them further into a happy and pleased state.

cereal:

I can still pick you up from National, if that's what it was about, and probably put you up at my house if you still need a room. Assuming we haven't moved by then.

Nope, actually it was about the Lucksmiths. I wanted to know if you had any more of their works, because I really really like "T-shirt Weather." Thank you so much for the offer of sleeping-space, but I should be covered; and it makes me secretly giddy that you're picking me up. Which I will have more information on, like, you know, when I'm showing up, closer to the date.

Our wings are not tired

Also of note is the appearance of glitter in their rituals and the moniker of Bitch which appears to be a desired title. Many of those present have adorned their bodies with edible decorations and then seem to encourage attacks with cries of "toomuchcandy."

This observer is still unsure of the implications of those actions.

It is almost amusing, to watch one Buffista go in for the neck--it seems to have further symbollism for them, stemming from their existant mythology. They seem also to take their time, enjoying it for as long as they might, with rare resistance from the party who's candy is being devoured.

While it might seem appropriate to call this action "Buff diving," there is another connotation for this curious phrase, having to do with a particular action among the community called "comm-ing." The meaning grows thicker as one delves deeper into the history and language of this people.

Our wings are not tired

It seems that much of their culture is steeped in double entendre and banter. They are known to break into spotaneous fits of haiku or song as the end of one of their discussions, or threads, draws near. There also seems to be a prediliction for creative rewriting of popular song lyrics.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I have a ton of Lucksmiths stuff, actually. I'll burn you a CD for the F2F.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I really really like "T-shirt Weather."

Great song!

So is it safe to assume that folks want a 15 minute theremin concert? I love doing it, and I've seen a few posts from folks about it, but I don't want to be presumptuous.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

So will the F2F be a Buffista lekking site?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Go theremin! Choose theremin!
