Tom! Thanks for the link. I hijacked it and now it is a pretty mp3 I can listen to over and over and over again. What a great version ...

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Popstrology right now on Soundcheck. Per the website's terminology I seem to be a double Monkee -- i.e., born in the year of the Monkees (vaguely defined "dominant star of the year") with the Monkees at no. 1 when I was born (my "birthstar") -- with my birthsong "I'm a Believer". Not clear what it all means, but since the author was born a week before I was & we share the same popstrological chart maybe he'll explain it in a way that my feeble mind can grasp.
Lucky you. I'm from the Year of Gilbert O'Sullivan. My birthstar is Roberta Flack and song is "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." Two days later and I'd be a Chi-Lites baby. Two weeks and I'd be bound to the Staples Singers. O, cruel misfortune!
I am a double Gilbert O'Sullivan. I've never even heard of Gilbert O'Sullivan.
People here familar with Wing? so wrong and yet.
I heard him on TAL- or maybe not. It was on NPR on a Sunday. I was born in the year of Elton John, under Silver Convention (not that I know who that is, but I'm about to look up the song- "Fly Robin, Fly")
ETA- I meant the popstrology guy, not Wing
I've never even heard of Gilbert O'Sullivan.
Aren't you the lucky one? You'd know the song if you heard it, though.

She's already been on South Park, msbelle.
I was born in the Year of the Fifth Dimension, under Sugar, Sugar by the Archies.
I'm from the Year of the Four Seasons, the Birthstar of Neil Sedaka. If I'd been born one day earlier, I'd have been under the Star of Bobby Vinton.

I think Salon's music blogger had something about Wing, but out of respect for Mr. Industries and his blood pressure (and concern for Mrs. Industries and Lil' Jandek) I won't link to "the broken clock."
Silver Convention (not that I know who that is, but I'm about to look up the song- "Fly Robin, Fly")
Wow, you were sandwiched by KC and the Sunshine Band! Uh... so to speak.
