I'm not sure if his band The Buckets started in Boston or when they all got to SF (which is where I met him) but they were a sort of an Ed's side project I think.
I've got The Buckets! One of their records anyway. "Tell The Buckets to fuck it..." I really liked their song about getting drunk.
I really liked their song about getting drunk.
They had some really good songs about drinking.
The Buckets rings a bell too.
Did he have a band "Ray Halliday and the Hurricanes"?
Not that the band name does anything more than ring yet another bell...
Oh my god, I feel completely dumb.
Do I need a gmail account to do this? Because I don't have one, and I'm not sure how the uploading, gmail, sending, downloading thing works. Can someone please explain it to me like I'm three?
Furthermore, I won't be able to do anything until I get home later tonight.

hmm...I seem to remember he had some sort of pre-Buckets band where he played trumpet. Also, he was in the very early version of the Breeders.
Do I need a gmail account to do this?
No.

Just email your mp3
to
the gmail address Hayden provided (buffistarawk at gmail dotcom) as a file attachment.
If you want to download the other songs (and why wouldn't you? Other Buffistas have picked them so they must be great!), you can log into the buffistarawk gmail account using the password Hayden will email to you upon request.
Jon, thank you very much! I will email a song tonight.
I didn't know Sinead O'Connor was recording a reggae album.
I am racking my brain for baseball songs. Or broken nose songs.
I think I have one...
OK, now I know what is going on (and yet again; technology is the coolest) but I am going to be in the great state of Wisconsin and away from my main computer all weekend starting in about an hour - so if this goes super fast, feel free to skip me. I'll be back by Sunday night. (Sorry!)
