There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
So these mixes. Y'all have some pity on us more mainstream folks who might have a hard time finding songs about baseball and broken noses or whatnot!
If most of you are leaning towards lesser-known type thing mixes, that's cool, but I probably wouldn't be a good participant, then. And I'm cool with that.
I'm far too occupied with downloading these U2 live MP3s that seem to appear almost immediately after the concerts. I'm continually amazed by technology.
I wouldn't worry; after suggesting baseball I realised that I'd have to substitute cricket and hope no-one noticed....

I have no cricket songs. I do however have a collection of football (soccer) songs, including ditties about Pele, George Best (Belfast Boy) and Jan Van Kuyper (guessing) the Flying Dutchman.

When an Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease is the only cricket song I have - and that only cos it was the other song everyone played as a Peel tribute - although I've probably got some cricket-titled instrumentals buried in my Dad's old trad jazz vinyl pile. Humphrey Lyttleton must surely have recorded some.
