Heh. I've seen them four times now, and they've only done The Tain once. Which is exactly the right number of times to have seen it performed.
t edit
And the new CD is indeed great. No real surprises, but I ain't tired of their shtick yet, so that's OK.
The new album is out already? I thought I heard March.
I've seen them four times now, and they've only done The Tain once.
I've seen them three times, and they did it twice. Which is once too many.
Oh. It is. I just kind of..stumbled on it and had myself a listen.
(So have the people at my music store. I was buying their second one, and the girl at the counter said "OMG, their new one rules!". I just looked at her for a second and then said "Yeah, I know.")
Ah, gotcha.
I think I'll wait, rather than attempting to ... stumble. I need spoilers for everything else in the world, but I can wait until the release date for albums.
Hee, maybe since I went cold turkey on spoilers, this is where I compensated.
And you know, I really miss spoilers. Maybe I could go back. Just for one show.
Withdrawals start again.
Sorry if anyone likes this song, but -- WHY, for the love of all that's holy, did some female singer who I can't identify (Britney/Christina/Pink/I have no clue) decide to record a song from Fiddler on the Roof? For real, now -- WHY?
It's Gwen Stefani, I think.
It's Gwen Stefani and Eve.
This is why I firmly believe that I have the best friends ever--for the second year running, my friend Liza has solicited submissions from my musically-inclined goth scene friends (and in one instance, a friend's father), assembled a compilation album, produced the album at home herself, and is donating 80% of the proceeds from its sale to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Edited to ask--should I crosspost to Press? I can't decide if this is Press-worthy or not.
