Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

More mashups.

20 Questions with Mark Vidler. This page has links to 20 Questions with other deejays, including Miss Frenchie, whose website points to this place for her mp3s. Worth the trip for "Pop Generation" (The Who vs. "Pop Muzik") and the delightfully titled "Fuck 'em Boyo" (Peaches meets The Clash.) The latter is her contribution to London Booted, London Calling mashed up with lots of stuff.

ETA: In case it's not obvious from the title, you may not want to play "Fuck 'em Boyo" at the office or around the kiddies.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Ooh yay, posts with mashups! I love those things. My current faves are the one that takes Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty"; and the one that slaps "Bootylicious" with "Superstition." Cool stuff.

My all time favorite, however, is the "official" mashup by the Sugababes, which puts the melody from Adina Howard's "Freak Like Me" with Gary Numan's "Are Friends Electric." I think it's just called "Freak Like Me."

In old news, I too was able to put the new U2 disc on my iPod. Guess I'll just have to live without the latest Diana Krall and that Mindy Smith CD on my pod.

Maybe. I'm going to try some hacking experimenting on the Krall CD this weekend. I'll let you know what I find.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I got one for Bob's birthday, since he put up with me being out of town and working crazy hours for weeks on end and he deserved some of the spoils. But I couldn't have him have one and not have one of my own...

I'm waiting for them to arrive. !!!excited!!!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Happy Birthday, Jon!!!
