I saw her with Sarah too, Tiggy.
sadly, i had to give away my tickets. it, unfortunately, happened the same week my cousin was killed in a car accident. i gave my tickets to a friend though. she said she was very good live.
Another White Dash is my favorite one i've heard so far.
Anyone know anything about a song in which Elvis Costello is either covering a Madness tune OR possibly singing on a Madness song.
And by anything -- I mean can it be found anywhere?
I picked up a used copy of the Butterfly Boucher CD without hearing any of her songs and was pleasantly surprised. It's not great or anything, but it's far from bad.
"Another White Dash" is my favorite on the disc as well.
Anyone know who does the theme song to Super Milk Chan? Or, better yet, where that song can be found?

I went to her website the other day just because i wasn't sure if Butterfly Boucher was the name of the band or was, in fact, just her name. found some interesting tidbits while i was there. apparently everything you hear on the album except for the cello and random bits of drumming is all her. that really impressed me.

Sumi, Google turns this up: [link]
Clive Lange, who had arranged that teaming up had also been largely responsible for having Elvis sing with Madness both on a 12-inch single version of Tomorrow's Just Another Day and in concert in London and Brighton.
It looks like it's available on the most recent reissue of his album Goodbye Cruel World: [link]
Joe, you're gooD, you got it in One!
That's the cap sauce! And may I add a big OHHH FaoLAIN!!!, too. (That's my coinage for 2005. It's meant as a general affirmation. Nuala can have the royalties if it catches on.)
I had no idea that Erin & Joe were tight with Donny Osmond.
That's right, pal. And we were soused with Alan, schnockered with Jimmy, and positively pixilated with Marie. And if you'd answer your messages every once in a while you could have joined us.
Answering messages! Now there's a novel idea.
Thank you Lyra Jane!
One of my friends is trying to re-create this perfect EC mix she'd made years ago and couldn't remember where she had found that song.
No problem, Sumi.
I actually have my own mystery song to ask about. It was a female singer and sounded a bit like a Jewel/Tori Amos cross. Unfortunately, all I can remember of the lyrics is that a)the song was very wordy and b)several verses started with something like, "It's two a.m., and I'm still awake." I think it's new-ish because of the radio station I heard it on.
Any guesses? It was pretty.
