Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Attention Pixies fans: if you're in NYC, or can get here by tonight, I know where to get two tickets. $50 each, but the owner (friend of a friend) may be willing to negotiate rather than risk taking the whole loss. Let me know if you're interested ASAP either here or at my profile address.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

msbelle, I've got a copy of my mix here at work to send to Angus. My recent schedule between work and the book has sort of pushed it to the back of my attention. I'll see if I can get on it this week, but I'm still pretty busy at work.

Sooo, when do I get a copy of this tape?

I'll try to dub you one when this is filled out.

Jon, you're bogarting mixes from Joe, Erin, and Tommyrot? Tsk, tsk.

I'd like to hear mixes from everyone whose mix I haven't received. I'm willing to trade those that I have or other sundry mixes to anyone who wants to finish it out.

Up with the sun

msbelle, Gandalfe should also have had meara's, Anne's, and Alicia's, as I maield them all with Kate's.

And I'm kind of bummed to see my mix didn't make it further in a year. Ah well.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Gandalfe should also have had meara's, Anne's, and Alicia's, as I maield them all with Kate's.

Correct. And I keep MEANING to send them off.

OK, tomorrow, I swear. Here, they're going in my yuppie-power-bag.

Now, if only I remember my bag tomorrow . . . .

Jon, no need to send mine on. I am burning disks today for everyone from Hayden to Plei.

Angus, I sent you a package of 6 CDs last week. I have delivery confirmation on them, so hopefully they will be there soon.

crap, iTunes will only let me burn 10 copies of a playlist and my playlist has been burned 10 times now, so I will only be sending to hayden, David S, tina f, Lyra Jane, Gandalfe, and Steph L.

Steph, when you receive yours, if you could pass it along to DX as usual and then DX to PLei, that's be great.

Thanks.
