"Discotheque" and "Mofo" both rock very hard in an odd, acquired taste way.
Yeah, I like "Discotheque." I don't think it was an acquired taste for me; I saw the video and liked the song right off.
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Ooh, and also? "Mofo" was awesome live, especially with the remix of M's "Pop Muzik" as an intro. Dang, I love that combo. I feel the need to hear it right now.
Ooh, what color would the Bowie ipod be?
Blue, blue electric blue!
To be classic Bowie, it'd need a flame-orange wheel as well.
I think the black & red iPod should have gone to The Cure, dammit. I mean, a Bowie iPod would be nifty (notice my understatement there), but a black & red gothy color-scheme iPod should have gone to a gothy band. Siouxsie, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus ... any of those would have had me lunging at the Apple store with the credit card.
The ipod is a life-changing appliance. Seriously.
Go iPod! Choose iPod!
And there's now a replacement battery program, and a DIY one that's only $40.
And I *liked* Lemon. I need to get that album on CD (or from iTunes Music Store, I guess). I think that was the U2 DH bought on our honeymoon, on tape so that we could listen to it in the car ...
But it's black! With a red clicky wheel!
Maybe the Goth iPod will be Black on Black. With a hint of red, silver or white.

Heck, even Gene Loves Jezebel would have been a better choice than U2.
U2 should have gotten, like, silver and green.

Exactly. Commuting is so much more livable now.
I really should get one. Lugging 25 CDs to and from work daily is a pain in the arse. And the shoulder.
