I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I appreciate it, guys. I rarely venture into Technology, so I wouldn't even know where to start looking.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I wish I'd known about the mixed cd thing! I would have loved to participate.

Tina, did you ever do those DMB bootlegs for me? It was DMB and something else, I think.

Every time I come to this thread, the Hey Ya earworm returns. Can we just stop talking about it?

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Can we just stop talking about it?

OK by me. Yesterday I bought the Kaito (UK) album Band Red and the Mekons' Punk Rock album.

Art Crawl!!!

Hey, we could talk about "Too Shy" -- saw the Kajagoogoo Bands Reunited episode over the weekend and got stock with "Too Shy" in my head for the ENTIRE WEEKEND.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

iTunes equalizer info: Under Preferences (and perhaps a subcategory of "Burning"), there's something called "Sound Check" with a box next to it. Check that box, and when you burn the CD, it equalizes the songs.

If you don't have the Stone Age version of iTunes, that is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If you don't have the Stone Age version of iTunes, that is.

This would be an actual stone wouldn't it?

Yes. And you have NO idea how hard it is for me to burn a CD with an actual stone.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This would be an actual stone wouldn't it?

Yes. The one with "Think Different" scratched into it with another stone.

Well, first you have to put your stone on a fire. Then there's the pounding to get each digital pit exactly so...
