This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

hip deep in pie

I always thought it actually WAS Starbucks that was going to overthrow the government.

Starbucks are The Borg. Resistence is futile.

Nonetheless, that is very cool Alicia. I am not the obsessed U2 fan I was, but I'm sure I would still squee about meeting Bono. I would giggle madly if I met The Edge. But I would be afraid to meet Larry. He's freakishly pretty. I'm sure he's got some kind of soul for youth pact going on.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I thought Starbucks was the government.

Um, that's Microsoft.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Um, that's Microsoft.

Yeah, but Starbucks and Microsoft are both headquartered in Seattle. Coincidence?

OK, I know Microsoft is really headquartered in Redmond.

Over-caffeinated soldiers are fearless in battle.

But don't they have to pee alot?

But don't they have to pee alot?

They're trying to convince the soldiers that it's macho and manly to pee your pants in battle.

What is even happening?

Yes, but the revolution must be well-caffeinated!
Well, yeah. Did you people think the Boston Tea Party was actually about taxes?

I thought Starbucks was the government.
Um, that's Microsoft.
Does the phrase 'coffee makers that think' ring a bell? It's obviously a joint-venture.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I don't think that there are a lot of people that I liked in highschool that would actually make me squee and stop breathing, but Bono would do it. Bowie clearly also.

What is Bono up to? This gives a clue:

Apple has sent invitations out to some news outlets announcing a "special event" in San Jose next Tuesday, the 26. The invite text reads: "Steve Jobs, Bono and The Edge invite you to attend a special event."

Apple Special events are generally related to new product announcements and introductions. Past special events have included the unveiling of the iPod and Apple Retail stores, as well as the XServe.

Maybe the "Revolution" that Bono mentioned is an attack against Microsoft....

Actually, I heard somewhere that Apple is gonna make available a special-edition black iPod that comes preloaded with every U2 album.
