If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Haven't gotten there yet. Currently listening to George sing about something or other.

Of course, this also means you're the end recipient of my mix, which is really appropriate.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Have I mentioned here that Little Bird's new favorite song is "The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band? He thinks, not surprisingly, it's about Batman. Also, there is nothing cuter than a three-year-old running around singing "Some people call me the space cowboy, some call me the gangster of LUUUUV..."

Does he like Batman songs? I highly recommend "The Riddler" by Mel Torme, though I don't know why it's credited to Torme when it's clearly Frank Gorshin on vocals. Very groovy beat. Plus lots of really bad riddles in the song.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

New Southern Culture On The Skids is out. They cover "Fire of Love" (I'm hoping with a Mary Huff vocal), and The Creation's mod classic "Biff Bang Pow" (which should sound...curious all SCOTSed up).

I'll have to get it, I expect.

That's all the mock you got? Hey, I consider it a public service to alert people to the existence of a new SCotS CD. Surely no band has ever given such consistant pleasure while trumpeting the virtues of barnyard animal sex, eating dirt, or getting "likkered up and lacquered down."

Yes. We're running low on Mock tonight, but I can offer you some Vitriol if you like; that's just been harvested.

No, no, I wouldn't want you to waste your preciouis vitriol on me when you've got bosses and co-workers who deserve it.

Not javachik

I want points for being Most Musically Clueless Person of All Time

No, that would be me.

I think I'm the last lone person on Earth to buy CDs to listen to music. I had a few gift certs to Borders so bought and am enjoying:

Verve Remix 2 Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Adiemus

I wanted to get The Green Pajamas Looking Through Glass Colored Roses, but didn't want to spent that much $, also, couldn't listen to any of the songs first on Borders bar-code-scanning-listening device.
