We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Kate P picked t.A.T.u. for a guilty pleasure too.

Yay! Teenage Russian pseudo-lesbians forever!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ha!

I feel no guilt about that whatsoever.

In fact, I place my like of the pseudolesbianrussianteenact right up there with my like for porn. Culturally frowned upon, but shameless.

My guilty pleasure song, however, does make me feel guilt. Great guilt. Huge guilt.

I'm with you, Plei. So what's your guilty pleasure song? I guess I'll find out soon!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Almost forgot to tell ya's. I'm going to see Jon Langford & Sally Timms tonight. Who wants to touch me?!

Lucky SOB.

Hec, don't forget the Clique's Texas connection.

Hey, Kate took a Remy Zero song! My buddy Jeff plays guitar in that band, although his last email said that he & Greg Slay (the drummer, also a Mobile boy) have left for good.

Oh, it goes hand in hand with a guilty pleasure show, so...

My mix was to spec, but sadly, less of my interesting stuff than hoped for fit it.

Yes, my mix was a bit atypical for me too--I couldn't have imagined ever making a mix with so little dance music!--but I guess some externally imposed discipline/surprising choices can be a good thing. It worked for Shakespeare's Sonnets!

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I've been forced to make some cuts - lose the mix of one song I really wanted, completely change another song out, that kind of thing. Damn your constrictive categories!!!!!

I just have to lose 9 more seconds, and I'll be done. Just in time, too.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I will have to wait to go mail my CD until Monday, as I am stuck at home waiting for the furnace repair people. Growl.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm also going to mail on Monday. For those of you who don't read natter, a water pipe burst in my building last night while I was gone and had another break this morning. I am drying out and awaiting more disaster.
