I love the Bauhaus version but I'd never heard the Eno version before. "Third Uncle" is a cool and strange song. It's just the same two chords over and over and over... and yet, it still rocks.

Those are the only other songs I can thing of. I've always thought that "Roadrunner" was based on "Sister Ray." And Eno was strongly influenced by the Velvets too.
Any other two-chord songs that "rock"?

I've always thought that "Roadrunner" was based on "Sister Ray."
Considering Jonathan was camped out on Lou Reed's couch for long stretches, I'd say "stolen" rather than "based on." But it's a fairly honorable tradition in Punk where three chords do most of the work.
Any other two-chord songs that "rock"?
I can only think of other highly Velvets influenced bands, like the Vulgar Boatmen.
