Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, have you ever heard Robyn Hitchcock? I have a feeling you'd like him.

I have not. He also has a song about "The Man with the Lightbulb Head."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't wanna be dead to Steph.

Dude, whining at her is not the way to earn her respect.

Speaking of which, Tep, did you see what Janet Jackson said at a recent gay rally event in NYC?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Lee, you could never be dead to me.

Though you have Trader Joes. Hmm. What a quandary.

Pssst, P-Cow. She's got tiny little fists. Wee.

I shake them in your general direction, mister!

I feel like I did, but I can't recall it, so I probably didn't.

Hey Hec?

Pffffttttt.

If it helps the quandary, Steph, I almost never have time to actually go to TJ's

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have not. He also has a song about "The Man with the Lightbulb Head."

He's got all sorts of weird songs. If you want I'll send you a CD of mp3s of his stuff and what-not.

Historically speaking, mp3 CDs don't get listened to so well because of the sheer magnitude. Mix CDs work much better.

If anyone wants to listen to bizarre metal music, I suggest "Sleep Is Wrong" by Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Cause it's freaking awesome.

Be sure to include Soft Boys songs like: "I Want to Destroy You" and "Insanely Jealous" and "Kingdom Of Love." (Not a very loving song, incidentally. Especially after the eggs hatch.)

She stood in front of the crowd and between songs asked, "Everybody out there who's a bottom, raise your hand." A few hands went up. Then the crowd roared when she put her own hand in the air.
