Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Are you ready to be strong?

That would rock. Know what else rocks? The new CD Jon sent me. THANK YOU!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So it plays, then?

song dowloading and CD ripping question.

I just found out that a couple of songs I had downloaded from musicmatch are in WMA format and RealOne can't burn WMA format.

So I start looking at what format my stuff is in. The CDs I ripped so far have been saved in RealOne 8 with ATRAC3. Is that ok? Does it matter what format they are in as long as they can be burned?

And I am assuming we burn to Audio CD, right? Not everyone can play MP3 cds right?

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

And I am assuming we burn to Audio CD, right?

I thought that was what we're doing. If we're doing mp3s then fitting everything on one disc won't be a problem. (I mock you, 80-minute time limit!) Btw, I just sent you an email, msbelle.

Catching up - checked out the songs by year link posted by Jon on Sunday.

Gotta say my birth year was a good 'un.

Jailhouse Rock, All Shook Up & (Let Me be Your) Teddy Bear, Peggy Sue & That'll Be The Day, Blueberry Hill & I'm Walkin', Bye Bye Love & Wake Up Little Suzie, You Send Me, Whole Lot of Shakin Goin' On

I went with something completely different - but it's good too.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

My mix is done, although I have to re-rip one of the tracks before I can burn the final copy. Working on liner notes now. I do have one song that matches up with one of Hayden's (although by a different artist, and not the song he would probably suspect).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

My revised mix fit nicely onto one CD. The liner notes are written, pending revision. Now I just have to figure out how to make a nice CD insert given that I do not have a printer at home.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Now I just have to figure out how to make a nice CD insert given that I do not have a printer at home.

I have in the past cut-out illustrations from the New Yorker and glued the track listing on the back. Or you could just draw something. Or use rubber stamps. It's artastic!
