Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

RIO! I'm glad you liked it. (Let me know if the crookedness starts to bug and I will harass them to replace it.)

I have been irrevokably earwormed by Gordon Lightfoot. Be afraid, be very afraid.

If people are having trouble with the cover song category, I found this site.

I can think of worse things. I rather like Gordon Lightfoot, but mainly for sentimental reasons.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm having trouble with the "What does it mean?" category. I do have one song where the singer mumbles a lot. Would that work?

I'm impressed by people who think about transitions, etc. on their mixes. Mine is currently so all over the place that it isn't even funny. I have liner notes written up and everything, but I'm going to wait until the eleventh hour to finalize my list and burn the CD. There are a couple of tracks that I'm still not 100% happy with.

Also, a frightening number of my choices are from anime soundtracks.

Gah! All you people who are done and with posting the liner notes are making me feel all behind.

I got a semi-suicidal depressed phone call from a dear friend who lives across the country late on Sat. night and the only thing I could think of to do to cheer him up immediately was to suggest we make a mix over the phone. Yes, this sounds odd but he is a die hard music freak and I couldn't think of anything else. Like four hours later and with the sun coming up we had completed a best of Dylan mix. It's really freaking depressing surprise, surpise. But it did actually cheer him up quite a bit. So - I got a mix done this weekend but not the one I was supposed to.

Favor: - I have no means of posting any liner notes on the interbunny for others' viewing pleasure. Any volunteers that I could send mine to for posting? If not, it's OK - just thought I would ask.

Up with the sun

Hayden and I have a song in common!

Here are my very babbly liner notes.

If you don't mind them being on my Geocities site, I can hook you up.

DX, that'd be fine.

Thanks LJ! I appreciate it. I won't be done until I have to be, so I will send them then.

Also - I just realized I sent msbelle the wrong zip code on my address. Because I am SMRT. So - whoever is sending me discs: 66049 is CORRECT. 66044 is INCORRECT. Sorry for the confusion.
