We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Dr. Tepper & I saw them open for Linda Thompson last year (pre-emptive correction: "You mean they opened for Rhett Miller.")

Yes. And Rhett opened for Linda. Which, I swear to God, I have actually said in conversation -- "I saw him open for Linda Thompson at Housing Works" -- when telling the story of the show.

I may have also added you saying "I can die happy now" when Linda and Teddy did "Wall of Death," but I think that was a fair extrapolation from your expression.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I just got four from Hayden, so I'll be sending those on by Saturday. They include meara and Kate's.

Not much help for me, seeing as how those are the ones I gave to him.

Up with the sun

I've had Jon's for about a week, should send it out by Friday.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Anne W. emailed me a few weeks ago to say she'd be sending some CDs my way soon. But yeah, it's been quite a while.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Maybe we could revisit the original list with the chain of mailings and see what is where.

I've had the Australian mixes (Angus & moonlit) for an embarrassingly long time. Buf if Angus hasn't gotten anything yet, it'll be a quite a while before I get any more.

tommyrot - There was discussion in Natter about you moving. Is the shipping address I have for you still good, or do I need a new one?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, I meant to tell you, bicyclops... I didn't realize you had CDs for me or I'd have told you earlier. Address is:

1335 DODGE AVE

Everything else is the same.
