Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Art Crawl!!!

Personally, I think it's more wrong that you've just admitted to playing airguitar to "Freebird". . .

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Giles sang it on Buffy! (Didn't he?)

In "The Yoko Factor", yes. I was about to mention that.

Hec, you should be jealous that JZ can't ID those songs. True story: I made it through 1996 without ever having heard the Macarena song. I was so proud! I knew it existed, obviously, but through luck and pluck, I ever heard the actual song. Then, in January 1997, I was watching some year-end wrap-up on the news. Without warning, they broadcast footage of the Democratic National Convention at which thousands of groove-impaired politicians danced to... the Macarena. Boy, was I pissed! At the same time, I could not imagine a more painfully appropriate way for my streak to end.

Well, I'm not a hypocrite. I can own up to my 70s rock past without shame. My first concert was Black Sabbath with Van Halen opening. I even saw Kansas live (pretty damn dull). Punk might've been happening, but you couldn't tell from suburban Florida.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

All we are is dust in the wind.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Damn, where did I leave my lighter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um, wasn't there a cheesy 80s cover of Freebird and some other song? That's why I know it.

And Baby I Love Your Way. But I can't remember who did it.

Up with the sun

True story: I made it through 1996 without ever having heard the Macarena song.

I've still never heard "Toxic." A lot of times I'll hear pop songs months after everyone else is sick of them, and it's always disconcerting because they NEVER sound the way they do in my head. (Like the "Milkshake" song, which I finally heard last night? It should be slower, and Kelis has a deeper voice in my head.)

And I'm not sure if I could identify "Freebird" without hearing the "I'm as freeee as a biiiird" part, or "Money" without hearing the cash registers. I'm a bit classic rock-deficient.
