HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON!!!!
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON!!!!
So I recently installed iTunes on my PC and I've been loading it up so that I'll have a good jukebox for my birthday party tomorrow. I just got an interesting pop-up window. I put in a CD and it asked me if the CD was Nico's "Chelsea Girls" or The Godz "2" (it was Nico). Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm wondering what other CDs iTunes conflates.
t edit and thanks Aimée!
Hippo birdies Jon.

every once in a while - and not just with itunes either. i think itunes uses cddb to get album and track names - anyway, cddb is not perfect.
what happens more (for me) is i have to choose from two possibilities which are identical, or nearly so.
I don't have my ibook with me, but i have a link on it how cddb works - kinda interesting.

I've never had this problem with cddb, and yes, I own both of these albums.
I've had that with CDDB, though not with that specific CD, which I don't own.
And -- Happy Birthday, Theremin-Actuary-Gigolo Man!
Hey, what have you guys heard about the Decline of British Sea Power?
It's a pretty good album, Sumi, what with the mid-80s indie rock referents.

Yeah, that's happened to me a few times, but the Godz/Nico thing cracked me up.
Nico had a better band, but, y'know, I think the Godz might have had the edge in the vocals department.
