I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

His hair was fine in Bourne, wasn't it?

Yes. Plus, those smoldering, evil looks. Yummy.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Inasmuch as his whole head is shaved with the same #3 attachment to an electric razor, so that his beard stubble and skull stubble is all the same length, yes. Not altogether funny-wrong. A little odd, but more notable due to its restraint in comparison with the other movies he's done.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Nutty is apparently smoking the kind of monkey crack which renders one blind, as he was of the hotness to the nth degree, dark hair and stubble included.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey. I did not say "not hot".

I said odd.

Big difference.

Well, I dunno if scrap votes with me on this one, then.

Dude didn't look odd to me. Well, except in the sense that he doesn't look usual or ordinary. But I'll most certainly accept him and the hair.

It's entertaining that at no point are he and Bourne ever within spitting distance, till the very last moment. As grudge-matches go, it was a long-distance war. I guess Celeborn called him up about the whole 'he can beat you up with a magazine' thing.

Pity about the accent.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Pity about the accent.

Ah, but only those who know what Russian should sound like noticed that. Me, I was happy with the hawt. Man's got nice lips, and I appreciate that they let us see them in this one.

Yes, he did sound a bit off on that, didn't he. But...I was focusing more on the visual than auditory at that point.

Speaking of, was just reading in ET how there are no new really big movie stars. In a sidebar, they mentioned that Matt Damon didn't count because he was too serious and chose his roles carefully, but then in the main article, they mentioned that the problem was that the new "stars" were made too quickly and were not serious and choosing roles carefully. I wonder sometimes if the main article authors and the sidebar authors even bother talking to each other, or if they just say, "This is my theme. Reinforce it."
