My whole life just flashed before my eyes! I gotta get me a life!

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

he moves beautifully

It's entertaining that at no point are he and Bourne ever within spitting distance, till the very last moment. As grudge-matches go, it was a long-distance war. I guess Celeborn called him up about the whole 'he can beat you up with a magazine' thing.

Pity about the accent.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Pity about the accent.

Ah, but only those who know what Russian should sound like noticed that. Me, I was happy with the hawt. Man's got nice lips, and I appreciate that they let us see them in this one.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Yes, he did sound a bit off on that, didn't he. But...I was focusing more on the visual than auditory at that point.

Speaking of, was just reading in ET how there are no new really big movie stars. In a sidebar, they mentioned that Matt Damon didn't count because he was too serious and chose his roles carefully, but then in the main article, they mentioned that the problem was that the new "stars" were made too quickly and were not serious and choosing roles carefully. I wonder sometimes if the main article authors and the sidebar authors even bother talking to each other, or if they just say, "This is my theme. Reinforce it."

Go Dana!

Too bad they don't do acceptance speeches for grades. "I'd like to thank the Buffistas . . . "

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It'd be a really weird one, too. Thanking the Buffistas for obsessive deconstruction of the LoTR movies. Thanking fandom for helping to improve my writing skills, because you'd never believe how much you can learn by writing media-based gay porn...
