It's available at Ticketmaster, but it's also available through the Jones Hall box office, and you won't get charged fees up the ass like Ticketmaster. Plus, discount. I think you should just be able to give them my name, but I'll let you know once I've figured out the process.
LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".
Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
Thanks, Dana. I haven't been to Houston often, but it's not too long a drive, and I'd love to hear this concert.
t sigh They're not doing it here! Not fair. I'd even go.
Hey, Astarte, I'm now acquainted with the woman at the box office, so when you figure out your plans, let me know. You can give me a credit card that I can put the ticket on, or we can work something out, or whatever.
Prices:
$55 - Orchestra A-S, Box Seats, Grand Tier (first balcony, front)
$40 - Orchestra T-FF, Mezzanine (first balcony, rear)
$30 - Balcony (second balcony)
Those do not include the 20% discount or the $2.75 per ticket fee.
Drop me an e-mail at the profile addy.

We need a concert in northern California or the central coast, preferably around Christmas, so I can go visit family and strong-arm them into a concert too. 'Cause the odds of there being a concert anywhere near where I live are one in a very big number.
Thank you, Dana. I'll look at my calendar and post to you as soon as I can.
Squeeeeee!!!!!!
Will ya'll tell me if a Chicago date is added? Because I am so there. If, you know, I'm here.
There's a list on Howard Shore's website, which is the only central list I've seen. Anything new should go up there.
If anyone's interested, the RotK script (in pdf format) is here.
I have tickets for the concert too. Yay! I had seen the ads for them and called like 15 minutes after tickets went on sale, because I'm hyper or something. I don't know how well it's selling, but having gotten lucky with Trilogy Day tickets, I didn't want to take my chances. I felt awfully geeky that day, but awfully happy.
