Hey, Astarte, I'm now acquainted with the woman at the box office, so when you figure out your plans, let me know. You can give me a credit card that I can put the ticket on, or we can work something out, or whatever.
Prices:
$55 - Orchestra A-S, Box Seats, Grand Tier (first balcony, front)
$40 - Orchestra T-FF, Mezzanine (first balcony, rear)
$30 - Balcony (second balcony)
Those do not include the 20% discount or the $2.75 per ticket fee.
Drop me an e-mail at the profile addy.
They're not doing it here! Not fair. I'd even go.
We need a concert in northern California or the central coast, preferably around Christmas, so I can go visit family and strong-arm them into a concert too. 'Cause the odds of there being a concert anywhere near where I live are one in a very big number.
Thank you, Dana. I'll look at my calendar and post to you as soon as I can.
Squeeeeee!!!!!!
Will ya'll tell me if a Chicago date is added? Because I am so there. If, you know, I'm here.
There's a list on Howard Shore's website, which is the only central list I've seen. Anything new should go up there.
If anyone's interested, the RotK script (in pdf format) is here.
I have tickets for the concert too. Yay! I had seen the ads for them and called like 15 minutes after tickets went on sale, because I'm hyper or something. I don't know how well it's selling, but having gotten lucky with Trilogy Day tickets, I didn't want to take my chances. I felt awfully geeky that day, but awfully happy.
I was thinking that it would be great fun to do a road trip to Houston to see Dana perform in the LotR concert. (It would be great fun -- but I'm probably too broke to do it.)
Still -- MWBuffista f2f in Houston?
Alan Lee was at the Atlanta performance.
Coming soon is saying that RotkEE won't be out 'til December.
