Well, as it's a misquote from an episode, we could extrapolate that plot items from that episode are going to present in the movie. As it's been applied to Summer-- where the phrase "big damn heroes" was applied to Zoe and Mal in the episode-- we could guess that there's going to be a little role-reversal; personally, I think River's going to rescue Mal and Zoe from a backward world, somewhere that's regressed from space travel, and has decided Mal and Zoe are witches because they have comparatively advanced technology.

Matt, I saw the trailer twice at ComicCon and barely had time to register that I was seeing a Reaver. I wouldn't have even known that, if I hadn't first seen the face of one on the website of that graphic artist (help me here, people).
The screen shot only confirms what my brain had trouble registering from the speed of the teaser.
