On the OB recently, Adam Baldwin said that Universal would be putting up a Weblog for the movie, like Fox had for the series, and he would keep us posted on when and where.
I'm starting to believe it's really happening...
In case people didn't read the AICN article, Chiwetel Ejiofor (the awesome lead actor in "Dirty Pretty Things") will be starring in "Serenity."
Chiwetel Ejiofor is awesome! Both in looks and talent. The article says more roles are yet to be cast - can't wait to see who else lands up in Serenity!

Early wasn't "disarmingly sophisticated". I can't imagine anyone feeling at ease around him. YEMV.
I'd base my not-Early on "The newly created character did not appear in the original series."
Right. But I'd say the character's not even Early-esque.
But he fulfills the Early role -- meaning no Early.
Was it ever established that Early was freelance, or did they leave it open enough so that he could have been part of an organization? If the latter is a possibility, the new guy could be from the same "guild" (to bring out an old D&D term).
