It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Art Crawl!!!

But he fulfills the Early role -- meaning no Early.

Was it ever established that Early was freelance, or did they leave it open enough so that he could have been part of an organization? If the latter is a possibility, the new guy could be from the same "guild" (to bring out an old D&D term).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fulfills the Early role? For all we know, he could be Early's brother, seeking him for a duel to the death. I don't think his existence says anything one way or another -- he's just not Early.

Art Crawl!!!

That's all I meant -- that if he's there, then it seem unlikely that Jubal Early would be there too.

(If he were Early's brother -- it would be interesting to see if he's as nuts as Early is.)

Was it likely that Jubal Early would have been there anyway, given his circumstances the last time we saw him?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think Jubal probably had a reverse LoJac thingy on that spaceship, so he could call it to come and pick him up before he ran out of air. That's what I would've done, anyway, and Jubal's at least as smart as me.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

On the OB recently, Adam Baldwin said that Universal would be putting up a Weblog for the movie, like Fox had for the series, and he would keep us posted on when and where.

Did this ever happen?

Invisible Green - Jun 06, 2004 11:53:46 am PDT #596 of 1424

Yep. The site is still up, too. The weblog was done by Brett Matthews for a few entries until Kelly Wheeler took over. Kelly was Joss's PA for the series, and Brett had been a PA for Joss in the past (and he wrote "Heart of Gold").

I don't know the website address for the official "Firefly" website (it was relocated after the cancellation) but I remember there's a link to it from Fox Home Entertainment's "Firefly" DVD website.

I'd get the address for you, but Fox Home Entertainment's website (www.foxhome.com) is refusing to load for me.

Not yet. UniversalPictures.com has FF listed as in production but there's no link to an official site yet.

The old Fox website for Firefly is at [link]

Universal has not yet put up a website, AFAIK.
