But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

If I hit you on the head, will you have a vision?

Laurence. Fishburne.

He needs to be a reaver. Can we just make this happen, please? It'll be a good thing. Everyone will be happy. Movie will make millions and millions of dollars.

Okay, this mental image just made me squee. At work. Like I don't have enough problems with Lawrence Fishburn-as-Ike Turner and still finding him hot as Hades. This one might break me.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

I know whether Book is a good guy or a bad guy, and I AM SO NOT TELLING!

t joins Fay in exploded-with-frustation corner (well, less corner, more splattered-all-over-walls. you get the picture)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

If Laurence Fishburne plays a reaver, what does that make Keanu?

Hey, he already wears black, so at least he proves my reavers = existentialist college students theory.

Of course, wearing a black cassock and wearing the ripped skin of your victims are two very different fashion statements, and that's not even mentioning the radiation damage. Maybe he glows in the dark!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

How about a cassock made of the ripped skin of his victims?

If Laurence Fishburne plays a reaver, what does that make Keanu?

Very short-lived, one would hope.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Nothing to see here, especially the post above.

This has been a test. Had there been an actual posting emergency, there would be an announcement in Press.

Joss spoke about the Firefly movie in a SCI FI Wire article that I don't think I've seen linked here.

From it:

Whedon declined to say which of the series' many loose threads he would tie up in the movie. Some of those include the secret behind the Blue Sun Corp. and its interest in River (Summer Glau); the secret behind Shepherd Book's (Ron Glass) past; the unresolved romantic tension between Capt. Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and Inara (Morena Baccarin); and the unresolved romantic tension between Simon (Sean Maher) and Kaylee (Jewel Stait).

Though there are some inaccuracies. For example, the reporter misspelled "Jayne" in that last sentence.
