Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wash is not dead. Wash will not be dead until Sept 30. It's just that we have a tragic and certain foreknowledge. It's the kind of vibe Walter Benjamin would totally go for, if only he had the pop culture lurve.

If I only had a brain...

He's Schrodinger's Wash: dead to us, but not to the world at large. Or maybe he's Relativity Wash: dead or not-dead depending on the position of the observer.

Heh, or Joss has alternate footage of the entire last half hour of the movie and someone else buys the farm in Sept.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Heh, or Joss has alternate footage of the entire last half hour of the movie and someone else buys the farm in Sept.

That would be funny.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

If it makes anyone feel better, none of this'll happen for five hundred years or so, so if we're long-lived enough and can plan ahead very, very well we can avert this disaster.

Yes, because we know from experience how well trying to avert prophecies in something written by Joss Whedon goes....

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Heh. This answers an interesting "When is canon really canon?" question I had in my head.

Also, Frank, I'd love to say I could do something this weekend, but we're going into the Big Sale on Monday, thus making the next several days likely hellish.

Stoopid job.

All I can say is if I end up stuck with a bratty medically-impossible miracle child because someone else had to monkey around with a prophecy, there will be Hell. To. Pay.

'S cool, Lilty. It's going to be a hit&run sort of weekend, so I'm not sure how much time outside of family and errands I'm going to have. I think I'm going to stop in at The Great Lost Bear sometime 7-ish tonight for a burger and a couple of beers on my way through Portland, but I'm not even sure about that at this point.
